Most of the Gillis picks have been shipped out now. Gaunce and Hutton gone. Just leaves Horvat.

The way some of the prospects/players were shipped out for garbage...and the sudden nature of these deals scream politicing. You know the owners had a hand in trying to shift away from the previous mgmt group.

This narrative is just rubbish fan theory. At one time or another Benning reportedly loved (or liked very much) Hutton and Gaunce. Shinkaruk he didn't like at all. He even brought back Rodin. Labate and Grenier were in the organization for a long time. I'm too lazy to verify this, but he probably signed more Gillis' late round picks than his own late round picks.
