It seems like the Canucks have been hanging in to their playoff hopes by a thread for a month now.
their entire hopes hinge on the 3rd playoff spot in the pacific so even getting a point in tonight's game and vegas/edm losing probably puts them in a better spotIt seems like the Canucks have been hanging in to their playoff hopes by a thread for a month now.
It's "Hometown Hockey" night on Sportsnet (Ron McLean) and we are the doubleheader. Calgary at Chicago is the 1st game and it starts at 5:00 pacific, ergo our game is at 7:30.Anyone got any idea why Canucks - Stars begins at 7:30 pst?

Tonight is gonna be a tough night in the dot.
Even with Horvat, I seem to recall our last game going pretty poorly on the dot. Going to need to take the puck away a lot in this one.Tonight is gonna be a tough night in the dot.

Ron McLean and his Hometown Hokey.
It's 'won or done' in tonight's game....even with a win, it's still doubtful they're reeling in the Stars. The wildcard race is basically over. The Canucks only real hope is third place in the Pacific.
They're obviously hoping that L.A. really falters down the stretch. But even if they do, the Canucks will have to climb over Vegas to get into third spot. And looking at the Kings schedule, they have a back-to-back with Anaheim and I think still have to play the Kraken.
Just can't see it happening this year.
Can you imagine his extension if Benning was still here? Not even joking sadlyThere is no one in hockey as good as Chiasson in front of the net right now
