What I took from that is he really doesn't like change, and therefore his name coming up in rumors really got to him and shook him off his game a bit.

Hard to fault Garland for saying “If I’m back next year” when he’s been in trade rumours for months.

I know Garland is hard on himself about this season but he’s actually been really good. The media is out to lunch with their criticisms and if management decides to trade him that’s a massive red flag for me.

The ES production has been mentioned a million times so I won’t get into the details of it again. But the idea that Garland was somehow part of the problem on this team this season is so beyond stupid. Imagine if Garland was given the PP opportunities of Boeser this season? What would his production look like then?
