Also
Rabbits average mating time is extremely short
Once saw a wild male rabbit finished his business in like 5 seconds
Don’t know why I still remember this
Rabbits have the ability to terminate pregnancy in the womb and absorb the fetus if needed for nutrition.

Seriously tired of Bruce's shit. Hog with 8 minutes and Pod scratched. Highmore with 14 minutes and Dickison a little over 16.
Nah dude, highmore hasnt been really good, but better than Hoglander for sure. He's not doing what bruce wants them to do without the puck, Dickinson and highmore are older and more experienced and they are doing things.

The team looks totally different with a new coach, probably because they're getting coached now.

I know it's just a dumb meme but it will never not bug me: we are not ahead of Winnipeg.
eh i think its fine were within .013 in points percentage. Really it should be us, Sanjose and winnepeg on like an even pedastol with the other way higher (next closest is to .06 higher).

Team has tightened up defensively under Boudreau and are not so dependent, as they were earlier, on great goaltending. Doing a lot better job of keeping pressure on the puck in every zone which was a failing under Greene. Were deserving of the win but the team would make it much easier on themselves if they could get the PP working

Good

Hughes - think you can now say he is an excellent two-way NHL d-man. Seems to be moving up to take command in many situations

Schenn - great that he got the EN goal. Good, steady influence on the team.

Highmore - best player on a good line in this game. Broke up tons of plays in the Hawk end. At times even is an offensive threat

Halak - think the goal was tipped, Was going flat but then started rotating after it went by DeBrincat. Halak looked great handling the puck and made numerous good saves. Canucks need to use him, to get him up to the point, where he is tradeable.

Myers - people go after Myers but honestly he is having a very good season (particularly after Boudreau came). His contract is not out of line with his play. Had very strong game tonite and could easily be seen as the best player on the ice.

OEL - fell off some thru January but last couple of games has come back to form. Strange but the Canuck defense which looked like a real weakness going into the season has emerged as at least decent. Might be helped by the absence of Poolman

Hunt -never know exactly what you are going to get but Hunt is having more good games and is not nearly the disaster he was early in the year. Skating better and was a positive in this game.

Garland - worked the boards very well in every zone. Created chances with his hustle and unfortunate not to have others make better use of them.

Bad

Dickenson - play always dies with him. Coasting way to much especially in the defensive zone and not getting on people fast enough. Tends to make the wide circle rather than cutting hard to the puck and is getting tied up in traffic far too much (shows no speed to get separation). Rather see Podkolzin. Dickinson would be very average even in the AHL.

Others

Miller - so much to like in his game but Lord he makes some awful passes

Boeser - much better. Making a better effort to skate hard and get in on the forecheck. However, not quick enough around the net (although that was nice little deflection) and contributing very little on the PP

Horvat - still recovering from the ridiculous covid-enforced inactivity and getting his feet under him. Got better as the game progressed.

Pettersson - better than the Calgary game but still getting little accomplished and still way too light on his skate.

Chaisson - maybe his best game this season. No star but at least contributing.

Juulsen - can see the skating limitations and probably suited for the way the game was played 20 years ago. However continues to hold his own and not be a liability. Looks positionally sound.

Nice to get a win but you get the feeling the team might be headed for just missing the playoffs and ending up with a mid pack draft choice. Trade line decisions will have a lot to do with that.

So we would need to play at a 109 point pace to squeak in.
Yes..
Well.. actually a 102 pt pace.. (0.628).
Significantly less than the 138 pt pace you suggested.

Currently at 19 home games played vs 26 away...

It looks even better if you believe LA and Ana will be unable to play .575 hockey for their remaining schedule... In which case we have a legit shot at #3 needing 92-93 pts instead of 95ish...
I do.
