I wouldn’t be too sure about that anymore. Might get a good haul from another team, but don’t see Vancouver giving us that crazy overpay atm. Rutherford or not.PIT is gonna fair well. Not sure if we do a deal with VAN but I know how JR is. And he'll overpay when he wants something. If I were you I'd be a bit concerned. IF again such a deal is consummated.
Yohe isn't a super reliable source, but worth sharing anyway.
Also this reply is hilarious and true:
It kinda seems this is the direction it's heading in. Vancouver doesn't want and/or can't meet their asking price, so despite Vancouver really wanting him, it seems like they're going to get outbid.
Friedman and Dhaliwal have both reported that the Canucks feel like they don't have the assets to pull off Guentzel, and it seems like them shopping Lindholm was their last ditch effort into getting those assets.

Boston wants Lindholm so the add on likely wont be significantLet’s say this deal happens?? How much is Vancouver eating on Lindholm? Nobody’s giving them anywhere near what they paid. DeBrusk would also be flipped obviously, but the Canucks getting Guentzel out of the 3 teams, is adding the most, and Pittsburgh’s getting whatever that is. Boston likely adds a smaller amount.
Likely way too many moving pieces.
I’d rather shoot Guentzel than trade him to the Rangers. If it's between those 2 I don't see how tf Rangers win that one
"Okay, The Grim Reaper"Don’t go down Dubas, f*** em if they don’t want to pay.
Is Guentzel really better than Lindholm?

Pagnotta saying trade could happen tonight and that they’re are still mulling the offers. Also mentions guentzel wants this to be done sooner than later.
Look at their playoff numbers, you tell me.Is Guentzel really better than Lindholm?

Why would Dubas resign? Seems sillyDubas shouldnt come off of the asking price either. Either trade him for more than he is worth or just keep him and resign.
Makes no sense to trade him for under value.
Seravalli echoing Yohe's report. Vancouver don't have the assets to pull it off, nor does Florida.
If not we'll get the deal from someone else.I wouldn’t be too sure about that anymore. Might get a good haul from another team, but don’t see Vancouver giving us that crazy overpay atm. Rutherford or not.
You know that Rutherford isn't the GM, right?PIT is gonna fair well. Not sure if we do a deal with VAN but I know how JR is. And he'll overpay when he wants something. If I were you I'd be a bit concerned. IF again such a deal is consummated.
He's clearly calling the shots. You know that Rutherford isn't the GM, right?
