4thlinegrinders drafted a goalie in the 2nd round that won't even see playing time with Sweden (3rd goalie) and drafted 2 Russians that didn't even make the Russian team. :help:

SHHHHHH!!!!!!!

Bogdan Yakimov is also supposedly cut from team Russia.

Your team is very good too, Tiranis. ;)

That's not really what I was looking for — I think it's pretty crap, I made a few picks too early (although I'm pretty happy with snagging Teravainen and Lucia where I did).

I would probably pick Reverend Mayhem as the best team, but on the whole it seems pretty balanced to me. I don't see anyone who clearly won the draft.

I think I could have drafted quite a few guys later than where I took them too.

What does everyone think? Should injuries warrant a supplementary pickup for a team? it's a little different because we were all pretty positive Hudon had made the team when the draft begun.

I would argue in favor of a replacement since, had this draft gone slower, maybe this news comes out before Hudon is picked. But once the tournament officially begins on Boxing Day all rosters should be finalized.

Thoughts?

EDIT: as a replacement I would take Mark McNeil. I think this is fair too since he's replacing Hudon on team Canada anyways.

I think its fair we replace not going and injured players, but should have some form of wait period/draft to see whats the finalized rosters are..

The guy that already replaced two bad picks that were already cut at time of pick shouldnt get automatic first dibs on the best of the lot left..

Like 24 hrs before boxing day we have to finalize roster or something..

Haha I thought about this earlier, seeing McNeill as the only suitable replacement. But yes there is much validity in your point, so injuries until Boxing Day can be substituted.

McNeill is yours.

Maybe a replacement draft for injured/cut players a day or two before boxing day would work? That way guys whose high draft picks were cut/injured get first pick to compensate for losing out on their highly drafted players.
