I think being waiver ineligible will ultimately be what gets him sent down, but he needs to capitalize on his opportunities this preseason to even have a sniff. I would much rather waive one of our other extraneous forwards as a result of Gaudette really stepping it up for the remainder of the preseason schedule.

The Boeser EP Hughes PP moved the puck really efficiently, couple good holds by Hughes and Boeser, but didn't really get too many A chances—they tried the down low jam play a couple times instead, and almost got a good Boeser one timer off. You can see the IQ of that trio though and feel pretty confident that properly coached our PP will be better than 17%/22nd in the league.

The 2nd PP unit came on and scored on a simple shot on goal/tip.
