10. Jonah Gadjovich10. ?

I think this shows some consistency of the HF voters - will Gadjovich be displaced from the top 10 due to the emergence of Jasek, DiPietro, Palmu, Lockwood, Madden?

I think it mostly had to do with him having a real rough go last year.

Going with Gadjovich here as he has top 6 and PP1 potential as the grit guy who can wreak havoc in front of the net to give the skill guys room to work and also cash in the loose change.

I like the depth we finally have in our prospect pool as there’s stilll good pro upside even here at #10,Nice to see after years of trading second round picks.

Really shows how barren the cupboards were in 2013. Our #8 prospect was a goalie drafted in the 7th round who had yet to play in NA 5 years after being drafted. #9 was a forward who wasn't even much of a prolific scoring the ECHL and didn't crack 20 points in the CHL until his 20 yo overage year.

In 2018 we are chosing between a goalie who played for CANADA at the World Championships at 19, a forward with 2 PPG+ seasons in the OHL by 19, and a guy who had 7 pts. in his first 6 AHL games at 20.

This is what happens when you draft top-5 in every single round of the draft vs drafting in the 25-30 range in every round of the draft. Simple as that—better players are available.
