With the 203rd pick, the Buffalo Sabres select,
from the Brampton Battalion of the OHL, Sam Carrick.
Great pick. He's going to go well before the 6th if I had to make an educated guess. Could be a real steal. I was considering with my last pick, but I had the idea of uniting the twins.
Interesting pickup of the Vesterholm twins. I don't know anything about them - the Sabres scouting staff forgot to visit Europe this year.
Thanks. Yeah, my guess is he goes in the middle rounds somewhere. Hard to say what happens on draft day though. He's got some talent and grit, but needs to work on his skating and consistency to make it to the next level.

The next GM (Jonathan.) was PM'ed.
So he was for sure? This is the second time he is going to receive a consensus pick and he had been on twice since you PM'ed him so I don't understand it.
Consensus pick for New Jersey:
With the 204th overall pick the select Michael Sgarbossa, C, Saginaw (OHL). Rated #92 N.A skater by CSS.
I'll need two people to confirm this pick. He is one of the top players still on board IMO.
I (Vancouver) will select shortly.
I agree, I don't know why so many are down on him...at least in regards to being drafted before the 6th or 7th round. He skates well and is fairly slick with the puck, isn't terrible in his own end (obviously isn't physical and makes some questionable outlet passes, but nothing drastic), he gets time on the PK and will block shots...just one of those situations where I guess I caught the good nights. With the 205th overall selection the are proud to select from Sarnia, Defenseman, Joe Rogalski.
He's been a guy I've been hesitant to pick since the 5th round, happy I could get him in the final round. I believe he will go much higher on draft day.
Confirmed.

In case you missed it, Cornell also got a commitment this week from highly-touted 6’1â€, 190 lb. RD Mathieu Brisson.
Brisson, the leading-scoring defenseman in the Quebec Midget AAA League, plays for College Charles Lemoyne and was named last week to the Quebec Under-17 Team that will represent the province at the World Under-17 Challenge in British Columbia Dec. 27-Jan. 4.
Brisson, a Montreal native, is a strong skater who projects to be a key player on the Big Red power play sometime after he arrives there, which will be the fall of ’10.
A 3/9/92 birthdate, Brisson was projected by the Q’s Central Scouting to go #8 overall in June’s draft. His NCAA aspirations spooked teams however, and he dropped to the second round where he was selected by Prince Edward Island.
Omaha Lancer defenseman Mathieu Brisson has the raw abilities to dominate offensively from the backend during his first year of USHL play. The slick skating defender plays a solid game that marries good puck skills with decent defensive positioning although he is still very raw and needs work on the defensive side.
The Cornell Recruit and native of Quebec has good vision, soft hands and makes solid outlet passes along with having some outstanding natural creativity.
MATHIEU BRISSON
Position: Defense
Team: Omaha – USHL
Strengths: Has good size, skates very well with nice all-encompassing mobility and has great vision with outstanding playmaking ability.
Sleeper?: It took much longer than expected to acclimatize to the USHL from Quebec Midget AAA but towards the tail end of the season he was making significant strides in his development which will continue at Cornell where he has three of four years of development time before he turns pro.
