There you go Mclovin pretty much guaranteed a spot
I think in 16/17, all of Matthews (82GP), Marner(77GP), Nylander(81GP), Brown(82GP), Zaitsev(82GP), Hyman(82GP), Soshnikov (56 GP), Carrick (67 GP) were technically rookies and the team made the playoffs.
how many did the devils have last year?
the 1917 montreal canadiens won the whole league with a full rookie team
Okay so not as rare as I thought. Hope these baby Canes can take us to the promise land.

Anyone think of a team in recent memory that iced 5 rookies and made the playoffs?
aside from the whole make the playoffs partSeems like Arizona would have surely done this in recent years.
very very frightening me
Galileo! Galileo!!
For the past 10 years we've just ended up as Tropical Depressions...hoping for at least Category 3 this year! The Carolina Tropical Storms almost sounds more intimidating.
If Vegas can make the Finals with a bunch of nobodies in their first year in the league, we can make the playoffs with 5 or 6 rookies in the lineup.
No. That team was stacked and actually had a good goalie.
That's a little revisionist. They have some good players, but nobody was looking at their lineup prior to the season and going "this is a playoff team" much less that they were stacked.
Hey guys was just perusing your thread and saw this. Lived in the Boston area my whole life.IIRC there's one just like it in Boston
