Problem is that there's more to hockey than just goals.

Look at his relative stats to his teammates... he's a net negative on the ice... same as many other Oilers forwards in the bottom 6 currently.

Granlund is an upgrade in the bottom 6 in the same way that Petrovic and Manning were an upgrade on defense.

Meh another free agency where all the good free agents we don’t even get a sniff at. Holland was never going to change the Edmonton factor, but maybe he make better bets on league outcasts than Chia did. And draft better. We’ll see, but my overall theory as to why we suck still has more to do with our City than our Management.

What a waste lets buy out Sekera so he can go sign for cheap to a conference competitor. Hold up at least we got some cap space that won't be used on anything positive for this line up. Holland is doing exactly what Chia did but instead of opening up worthless cap with a forward buy out (Poo) he did it to the D and expects a bunch of rookies to just take jobs the same way Puljujarvi and Yammamoto were suppose to when we got rid of all our offensive depth.
