If you don't make the playoffs for 2 years despite who's on the roster you should obviously get fired for not doing your job.

If you don't get out of the first round for the previous four years, with multiple complete mental collapses, you should obviously get fired for not doing your job.

If you continually fail to address multiple-year old problems or change anything meaningful about your system, you should obviously get fired for not doing your job.

If you go through near entire roster changes, whole staff changes, GM changes and the results are the same or worse, you should obviously get fired for not doing your job.

Hey now, we can't be using everything all at once. Gotta cut the 2 time back to back stanley cup champion 1st time in cap era US born Pittsburgh Penguins head coach some slack. The players are getting older and Sully needs some extra help.

Yeah! 7 years of no success and no sign of changing in that time after one amazing late coach replacement cup run and another very very lucky run isn't enough!

Sullivan is too favored by the FSG ownership to be fired. Plus 16 million is to much to swallow. But Dubas will make changes.

I voted off-ice and fulfill contract

I still believe these are the only ways we get rid of him

I think technically they're all like that? They don't get fired, they get relieved of coaching duties. It's only when they're hired by someone else that they're no longer an employee.

Sullivan will retire the most tenured NHL coach in history due to his incredible, (ex FSB) PI's ability to capture extremely compromising photos of those above him.

We have a team with Sidney Crosby and a decent level of talent and missed the playoffs two years in a row.

Meanwhile an Islanders team who had like 16 loser points and a Caps who had a -37 goal differential got in.

It’s not hard to get into the NHL playoffs and we still failed. Any other org would have saw Sully out by now. It’s embarrassing.
