I can grant that Talbot is better than Stalock but not much. Stalock actually had a higher quality start percentage last season. Think Talbot's best days are also behind him and I would have preferred giving Kaapo more starts in the NHL.

If he can stop the easy pucks that dubnyk and Stalock couldn't and provide mentorship to KK i don't see the issue here. Could be a good chance to rebound behind our solid defense compared to where he's had to play before.

Talbot is better than Stalock. Stalock is a low grade backup. Our elite defense makes goaltending easy.
