I don't understand why they just don't push it to Tuesday. Gives an extra day of certainty and even from a business standpoint it makes sense since then you won't have the clearly better KC/NE game eat into the audience for the actual Monday Night Football matchup

We have to play Thursday

We have to play Monday, Sunday, then Thursday which is a lot of games in a short time. Tuesday would make it bad

If this was approved by the league (and I can't imagine it wasn't ran by them), there's no way it will result in a forfeit.
