could have to do with nyquist. today he has the puck a lot and his shot is filppula 2.0.

They've been completely dominating the Crunch but we aren't getting any breaks and their goalie has made a few key saves. Its far from embarrassing.

I think the Griffins are actually better in Syracuse's arena. It compliments their speed. The Crunch are playing a smart big-ice game right now.

He overcommits on shots like nobodies business, notice how often he ends up 2 or 3 feet outside the paint after even a simple shot or a toe-drag, he needs to get much better at playing angles and staying in front of the net before he can be moved to the NHL.

Funny how Desjardins is standing on his head all of a sudden too. Think the pressure of winning here at home is maybe overwhelming Petr a little.

As bad as it sounds, I don't really mind the series going back to Syracuse. The more high pressure, high level games these guys get in, the better. This sort of collapse will be a valuable lesson.
