Game 3 with Moose Jaw-Saskatoon tied at one game a piece goes tonight. Savoie now with points in 10 straight playoff games and up to 6th in the WHL in scoring (behind team and league leader Denton Mateychuk and teammate Jagger Firkus among others).

Early PKing - he's out first with Semeniuk and then again with Rysavy but that may be due to Calvert having taken the penalty.

Beauty passing play that leads to the go-ahead goal, MJ up 2-1 now about 11 minutes left in the game.

It's a one on three that turns into a two on four that still results in a goal.

I'd give Savoie a year in Roch. I still Kulich has the edge (for now).
I tend to agree with you. I could see it being one of those situations where Savoie makes the team but is only playing 6-8 minutes a game. Its going to be a tough decision in Buffalo.

Amazing to miss the first minutes of the game but to find the Blades up 2-0 1:07 into the first period.

Edit - make that 3-0. Yeesh.

Edit 2 - Now 3-1 with about 8 minutes to go in the first.

Edit 3 - Now 3-2 with 3 minutes left in the first. Defense optional tonight.

Savoie -1 thus far (on for two against, one for), no points.

Turned a puck over that resulted in a penalty by one of his defensemen, but full marks for getting back and then blocking Minten's slapper on the rush it created.

Woof, Sidoroff in OT with MJ throwing the puck away not once, not twice, but three times on that final shift. Savoie on for that one, didn't factor into the turnovers but it was the end of a shift so he wasn't sharp. And with that his scoring streak also ends.
