McMichael>McDavid
He seems to have found his stride in Hershey. The problem is, he’s put in a very similar situation as he was the year before. All the center slots are full, and has to compete against a bunch of players for 2 at most winger spots. Hopefully, the caps bring in a coach willing to give him more than 7 mins a night and don’t sign replacement level veterans to plug up spots and prevent him from getting a fair shot at playing. His shot and hockey IQ are still rather evident from his play in Hershey, and his skating is solid. I think with a solid chance he’ll at least be a ~45 point middle six forward, with his absolute ceiling still being what it was before. How has he been this year Caps fans? What’s the future outlook? Was he rushed?
