Just finished my 12-man ppr draft.

QB
Kirk Cousins

RB
Crowell
Hyde
Gillisillie
Kelley

WR
M Evans
Aj Green
Diggs
Decker
Matthews

TE
Reed

Kicker
Crosby

Def
Jax

Defense, kicker, and matthews were all auto drafted.

Mostly looks solid. I'd maybe try picking up Joe Mixon, Dalvin Cook, or Kareem Hunt in place of Kelley if any of them are available. Can you only have 1 QB on your roster?

If he had done a good enough job building a team he would still be here.

Sure, but that doesn't really have to do with this. NFL is different than other sports in that coaching regime changes lessen some players values substantially. Lots of Whaley mistakes, Ragland really isn't one of them.

The fact they went for a warm body probably means they are confident one of Taylor/Yates will be available for the start of the season.

Yates is not going to start. He likely won't even make the team. If Taylor can't start the opener, it'll be Peterman.

Still too early to make that call. I think it's quite likely Ragland is just as useless in KC as he was here. Scheme may not even end up being a factor.

A 4th rounder is a nice return for a player who hasn't played a down in the regular season.

They gave up 2 4th just to trade up in the 2nd to get him.

To be fair it usually takes a player longer than a year to recover fully from the injury he had.

He doesn't fir the defensive scheme. He is more a 3-4 ILB who doesn't fit a 4-3 MLB role

He knows the system. He can navigate a preseason game. Cut on Saturday.

Hopefully for him, he has a decent showing and earns a camp invite somewhere in the league next year.

Yeah and I'll give him a pass on that. Im sure he wont be back to 100% until next year, but even before the injury, when he was coming out of college it was pretty evident he wasnt a 3 down player. He's excellent at stopping the run and thats about it. Wish him the best though, he's going to a good fit scheme wise and he may find some success with all the talent on that KC defense.

Dropping in for the quarterly report.

What are folks' expectations for the season? The usual amount of playoff optimism? More? Less?

Undrafted rookie WR Brandon Reilly is one of those bubble players pushing for a role on the 53-man roster.

This team should be terrible...like, 6-10 is almost wildly optimistic. Tyrod clearly doesn't fit what the offense is trying to do and could probably get pulled for Peterman by the midpoint of the season, our o-line is absolute garbage at pass protection, and the defense will probably struggle from having to be on the field way too much.

That being said, it's the Bills, so they'll probably find a way to miraculously go 8-8 or 9-7 and tank their draft position, leaving them unable to get any of the top QBs.

And by they, you mean Whaley, who's no longer with the organization. Ragland wasn't Beane's guy. For all we know, Beane was trying to trade Ragland for a 2nd round pick, but the best offer he received was a 4th.
