That looked like a 4 man rush to me, not sure what a screen would have done there.THROW A ****ING SCREEN. Stop letting your inexperienced QB to get blitzed every down.

Again, with a 4 man rush you're playing right into the defenses hands with a screen. You have to catch them in a blitz for it really to be effective. There are plays it would have been successful on in this game, but that 3rd and 5 play is not it. They just have to block better there. It stops them from just rushing the passer every down. They're getting burned when Lewis steps back to pass.

There's the completely ineffective screen on 3rd and 15 with the 4 man rush
It certainly helps. And it doesn't stop Ryan from showing anything. I guarantee you that the defense has plays where they show blitz and would salivate over a screen pass.No you don't have to catch them in a blitz for it to be effective (you do remember Gailey right?). It also stops Ryan from showing a blitz every other down. You could easily overload one side and slip screen to the other side. Or simply use a Bubble Screen.
uh.....that wasn't a screen. That was a safety valve...3rd and 15 is different than 3rd and 5.... Screen plays are common on 3rd and Over 10. But the down before where the FB was overthrown on a screen (which would of gone for 7-8)
