Just because we have actual NFL receivers now doesn't mean we are top 5. Yes, we have upgraded from Kelvin Benjamin and Zay Jones but I think you are overrating the Buffalo WR's by quite a bit.

I honestly think we're top-5 rather easily. Other than Tampa and Dallas everyone else is arguable.

At the end of the 2019 season I saw Fromm mocked 1 OA a few times. Not bad to nab him in the 5th. He’ll have time to grow and learn and if anything offers up potential trade bait in a few years.

There's a decent list of NFL QBs that were projected to go #1, stayed in school and didn't: Leihart, Cardale Jones, Matt Barkley, Jake Locker. (And they almost all end up Bills)

Only really Manning and Luck were able get #1 overall status and maintain it going back to school.

Kansas City?!

Tyreek Hill > Stefon Diggs
Sammy Watkins > John Brown
Mecole Hardman> Cole Beasley

TE Kelce/Ricky Seals-Jones > Knox/Kroft

RB in passing game

CEH/Damien Williams > Singeltary/Zack Moss

Sorry, that's a losing argument for Buffalo.

I take it you've conceded every other team? And my statement was WRs only. Diggs = Hill, JB > Watkins, Mecole > Beasley. Arguable.

KC's offense is obviously better because of Mahomes, Reid, Kelce, etc.

No, don't have time to do 32 teams and their WRs.

Just threw KC out there to see what you did with it. The fact that you rate Buffalo over KC tells me all I need to know.

No point in proceeding.

You cant seriously think Sammy Watkins is better than John Brown? That's weak sauce.

Look at the contracts NFL front offices put out for them.

Browns highest offer prior to Buffalo was 5 million a year.

Sammy got paid 16 million per by Chiefs in that same window.

What you can argue is that Brown was more productive..less injured. But no one with two eyes thinks Brown is better than Sammy Watkins.

Brown doesn't beat Sherman and stack him in that Superbowl game.

Brown is a nice player who got fed targets due to the lack of options last year.

This year he will get many of those moved to Diggs.

Jones was never going to be the #1 overall pick

Stop throwing stats and facts in the mix. They get in the way of people’s angry narratives.

So Hill had more TDs than everyone else on the list despite playing just 12 games, what a stud!

They just listed statistics without context. Unless someone was arguing the statistics themselves (which they didn’t even post their source to help themselves), it was just a post with numbers. If there was to be a purpose maybe the numbers on drops for each guy, or YaC avg would help with arguments sake and that’s just scratching the surface.

Both teams offense against the Texans in the playoffs last year.

Buffalo 1 TD on a trick play by John Brown throwing it to Josh Allen the WR.

Kansas City 7 TD's

Just for discussion purposes..

I wasn’t actually arguing, just posting season stats. Those are clearly trumped by a one game sample size, though....

I should know better than to argue with such closed mindedness... but I said it's arguable. Close. Watkins is a generically decent WR at this point in his career. KC made him take a pay cut. All last year the debate was "is JB a #1? Probably not but he'd be an ideal #2..." Well guess what. Now he is that ideal #2.

Bills sign UDFA tackle Trey Adams.

This guy was supposed to be drafted in the mid - or at worst late rounds.

My favourite move of the draft.

He's probably getting stashed on IR for the year. Very low likelihood to make the team. No harm in adding him, though.

Hill is a top 5 receiver in the league.

Put him on Minny or Buffalo and Diggs on KC and you'd think different. In this kind of debate you have to try to isolate the player from scheme and situation, focus on tape and metrics, etc. The only WRs that I know for sure are better than Diggs are Thomas, Nuk, Julio, and Adams.
