goes from a middling team to a bottom 5 team. anybody have any insight on how good kamloops might be next year?

Granted I don't follow the dub a lot, I don't think Kamloops will be that much better next year. I think they'll improve and make the playoffs but get bounced first round.

I wonder what got the initial trade voided.
Player he was originally traded for wouldn't report to SC.
He's gone on a tear with 19 points in 15 games since joining a rebuilding Saskatoon. 10 game pt streak.
Has anybody been catching games? Is he really playing as well as the stats say?

Martin opens camp tomorrow with Saskatoon. Their first preseason game is scheduled for September 6th.

Saskatoon's Blue & White camp scrimmage was played on Friday. Martin (#14 Blue) got dinged for minuses on White's first two goals -- after defending a 2-on-1, the trailer came in unabated for the rebound goal; d-partner turned it over at blue line leading to a breakaway goal -- and later rang a shot off the post as Blue's comeback bid came up short, losing 3-2.

I'm really interesting in how Martin develops this year. Liked what I saw from him in his Sabres related events (dev camp, rookie tournament, etc) this summer.
