I wouldn’t expect to get an all-around former captain…at his age 33 contract…for two years…at less than 4 per.

I’m sure he could have got 4/4 from somebody if it was about money. He wants to win. And the hospital…as was mentioned.

This is a respectful contract.

I like this a lot. You had to pay him his due or he wouldn't have come here IMO. As they say "it's what the market can bear." Most or many of the contracts handed out across the league were ones that people here said were too much but that's just the cost of doing business.

You are correct but Foligno is more than a fighter, he's one very good hockey player. He brings a ton of intangibles and Character that doesn't show up on the score sheet.
