He's only 33 and its only 2 years $4mil is a bit much but I'm okay with it.

Have to think there is a move in place to send money out. Hoping for a top paring LHD then announce the DK contract

I was feeling pumped for the future after the Haula and Nosek deals, and in one fell swoop Sweeney just burst the optimistic bubble by committing that money to Nick Foligno.

Sounds like he's a nice guy, will probably be a good teammate, and not a bad player. Just I don't like the deal, we have holes in the D core that need addressing and still need to finalize Kretchy, and he's committing $3-$4 million to Nick Foligno? I'm not happy.

1. Only 2 years not 5
2. Only 4 M not 6 M
3. Foligno excellent fighter - certifiably tough as a spaghetti Western bad guy
4. Legit high end technique wise body checker

You don't pay fighters that kind of dough.
