So ****ing pissed I paid money to go to this game. I don't mind losing but that effort was one of the worst i've ever seen. Honestly.

It was worse than the 5-0 drubbing Calgary gave us a few years back the difference being my tickies were free.

I know it'S a lack of skill, but some people were solely blaming J.J
Well, when you go from consistently at the top to consistently at the bottom of the barrel when JJ came on board, some would think it's on JJ...

[Wait, is my timeline correct? Gah, memory is not what it was... And it was horrible even then...]

mostly due to Markov carrying ability on the PP, we've made a lot of changes during that time

Oh well, they lost. Some bad turnovers one by Chaput early, one by Gallagher in the 3rd. Bruins hemmed the Habs - they did what the Habs often do to other teams. But yeah - that was a bad game but still the Habs were right in it for most of the game. Turn the page. It was a loss. 6 game road trip coming up.

Nother bunch who gonna throw themselves down the highest bridge after One loss...

RElax.

Maybe if I had spent money to go watch that stinker I would care but since I didn't I couldn't care less that the Habs lost last night. There will be more games just like this before this season ends and I won't care about these losses either.

Oh, fair. Still pretty pathetic as a team... Richer, Kovalev and Koivu as your best forwards since the late 70s.

I'd say that if you were to make a list of the five best fowards since 1983 for every team, the Habs would be in the bottom five, with expansion teams like Colombus and Vegas... How sad.

Yet we couldnt get Skinner for a 2nd this summer...

Damphousse, Turgeon, Recchi, and Naslund were good players.

That's a safe bet Sheed considering there are always stinkers, for every team, every year.

I cannot believe how awful our PP has been... I mean its just so painful to watch!
They need to have left shot, on the opposite point, to feed Weber...when team overplay Weber, there has to be a solution down low, why the players cannot execute is beyond me...these are NHL players.............it should be a help to go on the road, and not have the crowd on their backs...

That would help, but they literally cannot do anything right on the PP. Last night apart from KK , they couldn't even set up on the PP. Enter the zone, chip it in, lose battle away goes puck.
Next attempt, drive in deep, lose puck , away it goes.
one more attempt, dump and chase (Good old MT) , lose puck ,away it goes. oh thats 1:20 off the pp

I actually wanted them to decline the calls.... its gotten THAT BAD. The only saving grace is that its two minutes where statistically speaking, they are less likely to get scored on.

I blame Clode. He took the boys out after his 600th win and got them slammed.
Maybe the wives game them the Christmas list for shopping and they were tired from mall walking. Seriously it was pathetic but I wonder if timing had something to with it.

When I play hockey, nothing pisses me off more when my teammates keep passing the puck to my skates in stead of my stick. It's ok every once in a while but it happen so much last nights game. I ask myself, well maybe they are just not good enough. But then I said, wait a second, these are NHL players here!

Something is wrong here. The break outs from our own end have been a problem for many years... even dating back to the MT days at coach. Why the hell can't they make a simple pass from stick to stick is beyond me. It has lead me to another problem we have... Puck possession skills is a major problem with this team. They can't protect the puck well and end up looking to make an early pass before contact (pass happy team). Every single NHL team we play against knows it too.

- Lack of puck possession guys
- Lack of size/strength in our top 6 and top 9
- Lack of depth at LD
- Lack of shooters who can score
- Lack of shooters and puck possession skills also affects our PP

Yeah, we can survive against the bottom 20 NHL teams which means we look good 2/3 of the time. But this team make-up has issues.

Even at the NHL level, you are not assured to deliver passes tape to tape. Everyone has the skill, but when you factor in the speed of the game it's still a difficult task.

The best teams in the league are usually very good at this, and they also take time away quickly so the other team will have a more difficult play. It's the latter part last night that Boston did well.

They were just not ready to lose 3 in a row.

Fair but lets not pretend the issues the Bruins raised to the surface have not been a factor in other games. The trend here is when we face top teams or more complete teams, we struggle.

I'm certainly being picky here but the point is winning a cup in terms of evaluation
- Lack of power forwards
- Lack of puck moving defenseman
- Lack of depth at LD
- Too many small players
- Lack of puck possession skill which is why our PP sucks
- Lack of shooters who can score which is also why our PP sucks
- Too many pass happy players.

especially at the pro level this game in particular no tape to tape passes, just all in the skates or too far behind or too far forward, at the pro level this is embarassing.

Embarrassing and Frustrating. I'm sure our own players and coaches agree. This felt like watching a AHL team against a NHL team. No joke

Price certainly has patience with us. I give him lots of credit for it!
