I am also no expert. I see him as even with Steen at best, better then Brown.

I am definitely looking forward to seeing Lysell. I hear he is fairly responsible. It sounds like he has matured from the selfish play that dogged him. I wonder if they are just waiting for him to mature a bit more physically. I would love to see him get a few games in the top 6 right now over Heinen who I would bump down to the 3rd or 4th line. Heinen would probably still play more minutes then Lysell in the beginning.

I don't know if Sweeney said it, but someone in a position to know said Lysell may well get a peak at the show. As a reward for progress if nothing else.

I hope Brazeau sticks, He too has been rewarded with a contract bump,

Hmm, he's supposed to be decent
prohockeyrumors has this to say about him:

He’s a very quick-moving defenseman, with sharp edgework and good all-direction speed. That helps him get involved in all three zones, and catch opponents flat-footed. But Bavaro will need to improve on consistently making the right decision with the puck and not getting pulled too far out of position. The right-shot defender spent portions of this season on the left-side, speaking to his adaptability.

What happened to Jake. Had really good numbers as a Freshman, and now can't get on the board, I assume he has been relegated down to a defensive line.
He's their defensive specialist and faceoff guy
Usually on the 3rd line
Really hasn't done much since coming back from injuries, has 1 more year of eligibility, hopefully makes the best of it

I'm certainly no expert, but he has to be better than Steen and probably Brown.

Realize Lysell has been better since Mouge called him out. I can't say I'm sold on him, either. Immaturity and resistance to playing a team game might be problems.
His calling out wasn’t really the way it came out

Those two apparently are very close and I was told not to be surprised if they do lunches together just them. He’s not neglected they know what they have and when called out it worked

People who work with him and know him said he’s not immature, he’s accountable but he is young and he is in a foreign country

However, he’s smart and he’s well liked he just needs to get his body to catch up - the body not his behavior is the maturity

As always that's for all the time you put into these updates. I look forward to reading them.

I watched the third period of the UMass game. Locmelis has it. He plays the game damn near perfectly. He isn’t going to score 59 goals. But I think we are looking at a defensive forward that can score clutch goals and is good on the dot. When he lost faceoffs I found he wasn’t loosing them horribly. He is a lot faster than I remember as well. Looks bigger too.

Will be interesting to see what the goalie situation looks like in Providence next year after the Bischel signing. One assumes Bussi will be in the NHL somewhere. What happens to DiPietro after he has had a solid season (though has fallen off a bit lately)? Dyck can turn pro and seems ready to do so. I assume Svedeback returns to PC. I doubt they'll re-sign Keyser.
It's a good problem to have but we'll see how it all shakes out.

Yeah it makes me curious, too. I think like you do, that Bussi is either going to be on the B's roster, or playing for another club -I think it's preparatory for him being the backup in Boston next year, whether it's Swayman or Ullmark that stays. Keyser's time seems to have passed. DiPietro and Bussi will both need waivers if they re-sign to be in Providence, so Bischel and Dyck could be the potential 1-2 there even if Sway and Ullmark both return (seems unlikely). They will also a spot to send one of them to Maine if needed.
