I don't really buy the argument that Voracek had a poor season last year because he was out of shape. He was just snake bitten for the first six weeks, and then he lost confidence and started pressing.

You didn't notice how noticeably slower he was than the previous season?

If Konecny makes the team I don't think playing every night with Couturier would be the best way to use him. Give him 55% OZ starts, not 45%.

He drops to his knee as he draws the puck back. At first I thought it was an accident, but he seemed to do it every faceoff. Crude but effective.
