That's part of the problem. How many passes are completed in each game? There hasn't been crisp passing for the last 421423213 games. It's pathetic.

I might just keep track tonight for hahas

When you saw Boston's breakout yesterday it was crazy. Three (sometimes 4!!!!) completed passes in a row. We're passing to the end boards each game.

Nauseating.

The problem is the Devils have more or less a group of rookie defenseman who aren't exactly playing with Scott Stevens and Dano. And a group of forwards except for 3 or 4 players who should retire and no back-up goaltender.

I don't see the rook's as the issue, the vets on D and fwd alike, have not played well, including Greene.

Yeah, no kidding. The passes are sloppy and the plays are almost always unfinished. No one seems to commit to playing the puck and they just cycle it in the corners. What sticks out to me the most in their game is that continuous 'dump-in hockey'. It is clearly not working. Unlike every other team they have played against, no one goes to pressure the opposing teams defense in an attempt to collect the dump in or create a turnover. It's nearly idiotic to do it since the other team gets time to retrieve the puck and just regroup and do a linechange. Even if they had a chance to enter the zone they just dump it around and go for a line change. Seems like they really don't give a **** anymore. I know it's very hard to penetrate the zone with their speed but why don't they even try? It's laughable.
