Frustrating game, but overall defensive approach was night and day from the previous two games. If you don't capitalize on the few prime scoring chances we had in a game like that, then you are going to get beat against a team like Boston. Really strong defensive effort from Boston last night. They really do a good job of covering the front of the net and collapsing for help.

We played a solid game. Couldn't convert when we needed to. We'll win more of these games then lose if we play this way. PP needs to get better at entries.

Historically in the long term special teams play determines how far a team can go victory wise. Lately it has been very frustrating watching the sloppiness of our zone entrys, and slow reaction to collecting the puck, passing and shooting. Our second unit power play has never been good at that, and now our first unit is just as weak. Surprisingly it's our two key player's, Josi and Forsberg seemingly having the most problem.
