Forreal. What a combination of character and skill. We never have to worry about off ice issues with this kid. Just all class, all the time. Scores goals and makes the players around him better. 'He could have played with a cigarette in his mouth' I think also applies to Boeser. Just so calm and confident about himself.

Great weekend for the kid. Watched all of it, and thoroughly enjoyed it.

I still think Bo Horvat is the better Captain going forward. If there is a minor criticism I had of Brock this weekend would be that he could stand to inject some personality into his interviews.

Canucks rookie Brock Boeser faced excruciating hardship on...

This kid has so much character and so nice to see someone break through every personal barrier that has been put in front of him. I especially can relate to having your father diagnosed with Parkinson's at a younger age, 56, similar to Brock's Dad. It is not easy watching someone slowly lose what they can do on their own and strip their confidence away as person.

Pretty happy to have a new generation of players that at least make me forget how horribly managed this team is and cheer for. If Boeser/Horvat/Petterson continue their progression at least we all will have something to have, as fans of this team, going forward.
