Here is the line-up for today! Durandeau, Stevens and Quenneville in.
Kieffer Bellows only on 4th line after not having had a good game yesterday.

So here they are at 1-5-1-1, the worst eight-game start in team history. A loss of any sort today would actually guarantee their worst 11-game start in history, or at least a tie for it in points with fewer wins. The 2013-14 team went 4-6-1-1 in the first 12, and if that’s what you’re aspiring to at this point, well, kind of tough.
They’re without six injured players today, and now two more are out up top, and here they are with a three-in-three against the team with one of the hottest starts in the AHL. Blah-blah excuses, win games, absence creates opportunity. Sure.

HARTFORD
F: Beleskey-Chytil-DiGiuseppe
Lettieri-Nieves-Fogarty (C)
Fontaine-O’Regan-Newell
Gettinger-Jones-Meskanen
D: Lindgren (A)-Raddysh
Day-LoVerde (A)
Geertsen-Keane
G: Shesterkin
Huska

First three shifts might've been Bridgeport's best-extended pressure of the year.

Shots are 4-1 BPT 7:38 in, but there were two dangerous pinball sequences around Coreau's net, and he didn't see the one that got through. No score yet.

St. Denis picks off Day, turns around, and he's got a near three-on-none... and his centering pass to Bernier gets picked off. But Nieves hooks Wotherspoon at the other end. First PP to BPT.

Bernier, Koivula, Quenneville, Aho, Holmstrom.... Koivula loses to O'Regan, partial breakaway, got knocked away at the last moment.

No score after one. Bridgeport hasn't led after 20 in nine games this year. Shots 12-6 Sound Tigers.

Coreau makes three saves after a turnover behind the Bridgeport net. Still no score, midway second. Sound Tigers killed Hartford's first PP earlier.

Picking off a Hartford pass alone in front, Bellows stoned twice. Shesterkin looks very good. 5:24 left second, no score.

Finally: Grant Hutton scoooores!!! 1-0 Tigers.

Wolf Pack answer. We're tied at 1.

Hartford and Bridgeport are tied at one after two. Only the third time in nine games the Sound Tigers have been tied or better after two (won in Charlotte when leading; SOL to WBS when tied).

Little broken play, Chytil one-timer right circle, Coreau gets it with I think his left pad as he goes down. Still 1-1, 9:13 left third.

Been a bit of an adventure for the Aho-Burroughs pair today.
(They have mostly recovered well, I should add.)

Of course Hartford wins game in OT.... Phew...

Darren Raddysh scores for the lost Whalers...

Raddysh, just off the bench on a change, takes a pass from Beleskey and wins it for Hartford 2:25 into OT. Wolf Pack win 2-1. Bridgeport is 1-5-2-1.
