You never know...it is possible to find good players in the 7th although it is quite rare
Not a fan of the player, but he was always a good guy and never complain so I'm still happy for himWhat a coincidence, I teared up too when I heard about the trade.
In all seriousness, great to hear. I like Kulak.
Halak was a 9th round pick.Jake Evans was a 7th round pick.
Man talk about inflation, a 2nd a pick cant get you as good of a defenseman as it used toWhen you think about it, it’s almost the same price that we paid for Petry years ago
Its STILL insane to me Bergevin never traded Tatar at the deadline and he WALKED for NOTHING after not even being used in the playoffs after all ffsIf I read this trade correctly:
- Kulak for a 2nd;
- Lageson as a salary cap and contract dump;
- 7th for the retained salary.
Remember, Tatar was a cap dump, so who knows?
True.It's time for Edmonton to bow out gracefully from the playoffs so the Habs can glean as high a 2nd round pick as possible
I thought that only affected the 1st round, does it impact second onwards as well?True.
Note that even if they win this round but lose in the 2nd round, their pick will be identical. But better to get it done this round - and there are other teams that we want to lose in the 2nd round to make the Oilers pick better.
