I love this pick, love this draft! 7 goals in 10 playoff games, clutch player like his dad. Sabres fans will love this kid!!!!

This kid sounded like a hot commodity. I think he is an NHL player sooner then later, I like this pick.

Disappointed that we didn't pick Barbashev but this sure isn't this kid's fault, so welcome to the organisation!

Lemieux sounds not happy to be passed over in the first round. Good, put some more fire in his belly.

God, don't know if it's my crappy stream, but looks like he's been crying. Red around the eyes.

Sounded pissed about not going in first round.

"They just gave the kid with the most fire in this draft more fire" - Brendan on being passed over in the first round.

NHL network just interviewed Lemieux. Said he is pissed he didn't get picked in the 1st round and they just gave the most fiery guy in the draft more fire!! Sabres fans will love this kid, he is a playoff warrior with a huge chip on his shoulder.

I am surprised by the picks and by the move to drop back rather than move up. I wanted a tough stay at home D or a pp qb with one of our second round picks....

I am going to be accused that I have an aversion towards foreign players, but that is 100 percent incorrect.

We just have way too many soft, me first European players in the mix. Very few can project to the NHL style. Copying Detroit just doesn't work.

Murray is finally drafting players we so needed badly, and that is North American players, which is something this team lacks. Reiger had this fascination with European players, players who are mostly me first players.
Thank you TM.
Thank God Barbeshev was not our pick.
