You need to read up on the disease--mumps is very contagious. The question I have is why the team(s) did not act more aggressively when the first cases were reported.

Great, not only did Glass give Brass the mumps, and who knows who else has it, but now he's back in the lineup tonight. Just fantastic.
And of course Brass couldn't have gotten it during the stretch where we played 4 games over 13 days.
