Krug is such a tough one to evaluate. He’d have zero value to some teams. Other teams might pay quite a bit for him.

Personally I’d swap him for a Muzzin type in a heartbeat. Fills a need for Boston (defending) while not being a complete hand grenade tosser offensively.

No it doesnt. Krug is a damn good player and he runs our PP and is our main source of offense on D. Neither Kapanen or Hyman can hold their own on our second line IMO. Hyman would not look good next to Krejci and Kapanen is not a top 6 player.

Krug might not be the Leafs perfect dman but he certainly makes them better.

Yeah Krug isn't close to being worth that and if he was he wouldn't be on the block.
