I'd give anything for them to bring back the Neely-era jerseys with the bottom striping and no shoulder yoke. The old black thirds were close, but not the same.

I love our current jerseys but I do also love those 80s jerseys. I would love them to be our next Winter Classic jersey.

It took me years to find this Bourque jersey but I finally got a hold of one last fall and it's my favorite jersey I've ever owned

Give me this jersey all day. I never saw them live, but I would love to see this as their home jerseys (with the matching white for away). Give me a slick Gold jersey as the 3rd and they'd be the cleanest uniforms in the league.


What they wear now are wonderful as well, and I did enjoy the number change, but I don't care for the black socks. Wish they'd go back to gold.

Hate hate hate the black socks. Legit the only thing wrong with their current unis.

Yeah, with the striping on the arms, jersey bottom, and socks, the 80s/early 90s jersey was the perfect distribution and balance of black/yellow/white. The current ones have too much yellow up top and the black socks. Not enough white to balance it out. The black thirds they had had no bottom striping and too much black.

No complaints about Neely’s era or today’s. Like the black socks but don’t have a problem if they go back either.

I get that teams like Calgary and even the Blues look great and should wear colors at home.

However Montreal, NYR, Caps and Bruins look better in whites and should use them at home.

Best (surprise): BBB era sweaters. This fellow doesn't like "yokes" (sic)? Sorry, junior. These were, and remain, the baddest of bad** jerseys.

2] Honorable mention: 1] Nearly all-black, late 2000's era third jerseys.

3] '30's throwback jerseys, minus the Disneyesque "smilie B" crest (sic), sported in the 2010 Winter Classic.

Never a fan: 1] the '90s Pooh (ugh ergh); 2] the "apulate free" jobs with the bear head on either shoulder. I get that some like this, but again, it's BBB era/current B sweaters I appreciate most. 3] Meh '90s jersey (sic).

A decent representation of a bear in needlepoint is difficult at best and ruined a lot of good Bruins jerseys.
