yep…he’s returned from Omaha. Moved back about a month ago.
He’s running New England Hockey Journal.

I knew that part, and have my fresh new NEHJ membership so I can read his stuff. i just didn't realize he was in Boston and would be at rookie camp. Will definitely try to make it over to the camp this week

Moncton NB
Love that Quaider is involved in at least some capacity with the organization even if it's a volunteer basis.

Pretty cool that Marchand also spoke to the group this morning.
I think Adam McQuaid should be hired as an assistant coach, even if it is to start out in Providence, I think he could be valuable and teach the kids a thing or two.

Day 1 wrap
Thought the first session players performed their drills better
Second session had the more familiar names but seemed more rusty
Beecher was cruising around in a Merlot jersey
Thought Voyer and Lyle looked very good, Lyle is built like a tank, saw no issues with skating today
JD Greenway is a physical specimen, I'd sign him
Gasseau is like 6-4 but plays with a tiny stick
So he's very hunched while skating with the puck, looks ugly
Lohrei had a pretty strong day with drills, showed off his stick handling multiple times
Of the invites I was very impressed with Brandon Scanlin, he dominated most drills
Stejskal was a hair better than Petruzzelli in goal
Keyser wasn't as sharp
Fitness wasn't terrible, they went hard for about 45 minutes
Ran into Jack Eichel in the parking garage as I was leaving, we said Hi to each other

Future top 6 IMO. He's had offers I know to sign already after last season, you let him play his junior season you'll be competing with about 25 teams.
It's a little late to tell your College Coach I've changed my mind I'm going pro now

Brandon Scanlin certainly passes the looks like a hockey player test
