I was going to say Benoit Pouliot but all those extra years on Ryan I don't think it's worth it.

Ryan is undeniably the better player but not worth that cap hit now so I can't imagine being locked into him for 5 more years after this one at 7.25. That's way too risky.

problem is--Ryan's contract. 5 more years at 7.25 after this one and top it off with his NNC and limited NTC--I can see the Sens taking the hit and buying him out
