Weegar
Dunn
I think Dunn and Ekblad would an awesome pairing and the Blues need Weegar as Dunn is kinda redundant with Krug/Faulk
Thoughts?
This isn’t a bad offer although I’m concerned that Dunn has such low time on ice. On the flip side he is younger and probably cheaper
I don’t disagree but there’s still this risk over Dunn taking the step. The trade premise makes sense if Weegar wants out thoughI think playing with Ekblad would unlock Dunn’s full potential. Ekblad has shown he can carry the load defensively. I think Dunn can basically be Krug 2.0 and would be a great match for Ekblad who I view as AP 2.0

Not really. We have Parayko, Faulk, and Bortuzzo on the RD, with Santini and Reinke as call-ups. Is Weegar a 3rd pairing defenseman?Blues need another right shot dman?

Counteroffer, Dunn for Panthers 2021 1st. Top 10 protected .
Then there is even less organizational need. No thanks.Weegar plays LD, even though he has a right shot.
I'd wait until Weegar's next contract is finalized to make a deal for Dunn.
Don't know if Dunn has top pair potential. Seems more of a 2nd line guy who needs to be sheltered a lot

That's very interesting. Has he always played the left side, or is it out of necessity?
Owen Tippett for Vince Dunn - Blues aren't in a need for any defense Perunovich, Scott, Mikkola, Niko, Reinke, Mitch, Santini, Steven
