I remember that game! It was quite fun to watch. Special team, special year.

1:50 mark. Tender epic speed. And he was more popular than ak46 among habs fan at the time

Can we have that type of PP again? That's a PP that's wroth watching!

The 08 Habs were such a fun team to watch. Fast, crafty and energetic. Too bad things would start to fall after that season.

Yep that was a great game, we had such high hopes for the Kostitsyns, oh well. Still feel bad for Savard, he was one of the only Bruins I liked. I wonder if we had Price of today in nets with that offense, if we could have done any damage?

The PP was a thing of beauty. We need a better coach obviously, but whoever is in charge of the PP has to recognize that Galchy should be playing the side-wall a la kovalev. I find it to be a little bit of a waste having him so low in the zone

Carbonneau-Muller was a good coaching duo. That year was fun to watch and even in these short clips you get much more of a sense of a team creating things than you have under Therrien.

Wow, it's crazy to think how the core of the Bruins would change so drastically from '08 to '09.

Ya sure that was fun. But you guys need to remember that we had one of the worst 5 on 5 team in the league back then too. The PP was dynamite though and we all knew that teams couldn't give us more than 2 or they'd just lose.

I wish we still had Higgins and Streit.

SK was so cool to watch, great skillset.

I think a lot of Bruins fans point to that very game actually as a turning point in their recent history that led to them building the team that won them a Cup (or that's what they tell themselves to spin a beating from the hands of the Habs into something positive, who knows).

People who actually say that the team we had last season and this year is the best we've had in a long time are so wrong. This 2007-2008 Habs team was amazing.

And don't get me started on the 2008-2009 one (for the first 3 months and a half).
