KD is definitely planning to take on some bad contracts for picks. Gotta clear space. So if he could have been buried for free, is this a move to free up a roster spot?
Not sure about penny pinching but if they have no need for him might as well save $733k in cashSo if he could have been buried for free, is this a move to free up a roster spot?
Or... is this a sign that the Blackhawks are going back to the dark ages and will be penny pinchers on spending?
doesnt make any sense at all unless u guys are at max contracts and needed to shred one. but then again he could have been included in a trade.
just dont understand why this was needed. injuries happen why not give him a chance until you NEED to clear one of your 50 contract slots.
could send him down through waivers and not have any dead cap too. (unless he's still exempt which in that case just demote him and call up if needed)

So unremarkable you forgot his name is LiamGotta make room for Luke Gorman
Can you imaging the amount of shit talking KD and MacIver must do about Stanley?Davidson lost his interim tag 4 months ago and has already cleared out almost half of the contracts Stan signed/acquired. Talk about a tear down.
Sorry if I misinterpreted your post, but the story yesterday is that Kubalik isn't being qualified either. So, the plan is getting rid of everyone?
also the plan; to lose every game in the regular season?

Oh, forgot Kubalik...
Seth JonesDavidson must have really hated working under Bowman. He wants absolutely no one he acquired on this team. We need to make a list of who is left.

Of course they'd offer to terminate his contract. Why would Borgstrom walk away from a million dollars?I was thinking they might offer to terminate HB's'contract since from my perspective he obviously didn't fit in the Hawks plans, but buying him out is a little less aggressive and lets him see if he can jump start his career somewhere else probably in Europe.
Because they told him he wouldn't be getting any ice time either at the NHL or AHL level so next year it would be like he didn't exist in the hockey world.Of course they'd offer to terminate his contract. Why would Borgstrom walk away from a million dollars?
