its not a legitimate strategy, it's an illegal play that comes with a spot foul, a return of possession, and a new set of downs
And forceouts were never "illegal". There was no penalty for hitting a guy out of bounds who was trying to complete a catch. The rule simply said that if the ref deemed he would have come down in bounds without the contact than it would be a good catch. Bad rule, sure, but not comparable to intentionally batting a fumble out of bounds in the end zone.

Sunday's disappointing loss to the Giant was a parade of penalties and missed opportunities. The Giants were able to capitalize on a few mistakes from the Bills, while Greg Roman's offense simply wasn't firing on all cylinders. The All-22 is here to tweak Tyrod, and give fist-pounds to Stephon Gilmore and Ronald Darby.

I'll also show you why I hate, hate, hate "The play calling was terrible!" calls. Sometimes it's great, and guys don't do their job. That's execution. Can coaches do better? Yes. So can the players, and it's clear several times.

i think the force out commentary is worthless, its a terrible comparison, batting the ball out of the end zone is a penalty, but I guess if the Pats taught us anything its that you should cheat whenever at all possible because you wont get caught every time

Is he a new KO specialist or is Carpenter about to be gone too? Cundiff isn't exactly... good.

Hopefully its also way to see what Cundiff still has left as a PK in practice and go from there, but right now, seems like he'll be a KO guy

Moore is a pretty good receiver, but hopefully his signing is more about replacing Thigpen as PR and not Watkins being out again.

It's about Thigpen but I won't mind seeing him later down the road at WR.... he wasn't bad in Oakland as a WR..... obviously he isn't getting snaps over Watkins, Woods, or Harvin

Bills sign K Billy Cundiff and WR Denarius Moore

Gay and Thigpen gone

If they were keeping 2 kickers, I'd have preferred to keep Gay and sign Kai Forbath, but Cunfdiff probably has more leg than Kai.

On a side note, the radio guys here in DC love Dustin Hopkins.
