A new stadium is needed in Buffalo. What I don't understand is why so many fans are against it a new stadium. Would it really be that bad if they put a stadium downtown?

It's not "needed".
Can you blame people for not wanting to have their taxes raised to fund a new stadium? And for tickets to inevitably go up in price? Yeah, I can't wait to have my season tickets go up 25, 50, 100% Whatever it is.
The Ralph is outdated and is need of a major renovating. A downtown stadium would be great. Get more people downtown on game days, smaller tailgating would reduce the amount of people that get drunk before the game. Yeah it would be higher ticket prices but again its a good chance with higher ticket prices the ones that just go to the game to get drunk and cause problems would be lower.
