Of course, that would be a solid third I think. After that though, I can't think of a thing that would come fourth without a significant gap. I can't believe I freaking forgot Tombstone.

Top Secret has been getting a bit more recognition lately but I really don't think it gets the love that it should. It's amazing. I would put it right there with Airplane.

All of the Schmacher silliness aside, I liked his portrayal of Bruce Wayne as well.

Also Kiss Kiss Bang Bang was good too. Funny back and.forth with RD Jr.

I have a friend that swears The Salton Sea is not only Val's best work, but is one of the best movies he's ever seen.

Have not watched it though.

It's good, not one of the best movies I've ever seen but it's good and weird. I'd check it out, but you have to finish it once you start it. He's good in it, but talent was never his problem and Doc Holliday was a better performance.

Kilmer's career has Tombstone, Real Genius (80's glory), Top Secret! (ZAZ), Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (watch it), Top Gun, The Heat, Willow and The Salton Sea as the notable ones. The comedies are awesome and Tombstone is Tombstome. The retired pornstar one was pretty good, The Doors was a good performance but Oliver Stone wasn't good OS. So TTS is up there in his filmography.

He might be dying so I went through his filmography, as to not do it after the fact like I did with Robin Williams because it was depressing. Both are morbid things to do. It's a random career but you find a few hidden gems or movies you forgot about. KKBB is one and it needs more recognition.

Kilmer was the real star in Tombstone. He was also a great sidekick to DeNiro in "Heat" but ultimately just a part of a great ensemble cast supporting the two superstars.

Being Saxon, Top Secret is especially funny to me because the German dub uses the Saxon accent for all the East German bad guys (the same had been done with Col. Klink of Hogan's Heroes - where it's also a great fit). Too bad they changed the national anthem though, it's great in English.

I'm gonna go see Star Wars sometime during the day when I wake up.

Not a big Star Wars guy by any means, but I can appreciate some fancy CGI and lasers.

It's probably not getting enough love because it's like the third time this year I've used it

My Star War references are mostly tied to Arrested Development, so that should tell you how much I care :P
