CAN
In before lucic and Eriksson.

Scheifele
Gaudreau
Crosby
Reinhart (signed a bridge deal for like two million less then Nylander and quietly put up 66 pts)

Anyone who was good and signed a deal before the draisaitl and Eichel contracts (which are both absolutely fine especially when you consider the length and how prices are going to go up), it’s just a different time now with the cap continuing to rise as does everything else can you imagine the contracts guys like lafrenierre are going to get coming out of their entry level deals 12’x 6,7,8?

For the Winnipeg Jets:

1. Mark Scheifele ($6.125 M) until 2024- one of the best contracts in the NHL
2. Nik Ehlers ($6.0 M) until 2025 - underrated
3. Adam Lowry (2.916 M) until 2021 - very underrated

Don't know what a less than 30 points 3rd (now 4th) line C at 3 millions is doing in a "bang for the buck" thread.

Don't get me wrong, he is a fine player, but he does not belong in this conversation.

Players like Klingberg (#1 D at less than 5 millions per), Kucherov (league MVP at less than 5 millions), Domi (more than 70 points C at 3,1 millions), Couturier (#1 C at 4.3 millions) Arvidsson, Josi (the whole damn Nashville team but Subban), etc. are the kind of players we are looking for.

You may not have seen Lowry play. He is one of the best defensive forwards, and highly underrated. Possibly the most underrated player today.

Because he hasn't been mentioned yet, I will say Morgan Rielly: 20 goals, 72 points age 25 (just had his birthday less than a month ago) and locked up until 2022 for a cap hit of a mere $5 million.
