I am by no means a fanboy, but I already prefer this to Currents. It's pretty strong.

It didn't blow my mind, unfortunately. But it was fine. Enough good to great songs on there to make one happy. But there's a few total throwaways, which Currents didn't have.

I found the production on the tame impala album to be flawless, but there wasn’t as many hooks as previous albums , and I grew a bit bored with some of it.

So far “I let it in and it Took Everything” by Loathe has been getting the most love from me this year. It feels a bit Deftones worshippy at times but I love Deftones so it’s more of a plus than a negative for me. Early AOTY for me
