Then shut down the rumours. They didn’t... make a decision and stick to it.
While most teams are sitting out their potential trade pieces...Dubas craps the bed again.
And Marincin lives to play another day.Liljegren is definitely back in.

Please be ok we need assets and/or help to make the playoffs
How is it dumb? They aren't trying to trade him. They are trying to win hockey games. Him not playing would be highly dumb, especially if they aren't trying to trade him.
This is so much different than teams that are actually selling. If you can't see that, then you really have to take a step back and evaluate.

Barrie absolutely should have started in this game, we just have terrible luck.
Most teams sitting players aren’t fighting for every point they can get, playing Barrie meant less ice time for Marincin which is better for the team. Barrie played 60 games this season and didn’t get hurt the chances of him getting hurt tonight were completely out weighed by the need for 2 points, IMO playing him was the right choice and a no brainer. While most teams are sitting out their potential trade pieces...Dubas craps the bed again.
Marner, Tavares, Rielly, Muzzin, Andersen and now Barrie all missing extended time. Rough year.
