Looks like 40 games, not sure if that was announced before

edit: Looks like it wasn't announced because everyone is playing a different amount, even within our division. According to the AHL site, San Diego has 42 games, Ontario 38 games..

Hartford and Bridgeport actually only have 24 games listed. What a mess.

The full AHL schedule, has the Cuda playing BACK in Santa Clara County as of 2/27. A handful of games will be at practice facility

Nothing official's been announced but this is bouncing around in the news a little today.

I was wondering how they'd schedule playoffs with the AHL splitting into five divisions and I guess their answer is "we're not"?

This is a weird day for AHL news:

The Stockton Heat will be playing in Calgary this season instead of Stockton. However, that would mean they're no longer in our division (would now have to be in the Canadian Division) and the schedule would need to be tweaked, so this is kind of a big thing to have come up at this stage:

Right now, the Barracuda have 10 games scheduled against Stockton, out of their 40.

Yeah the San Joaquin public health officer in that article says she was on "the brink" of approving them pending legal approval, but it really was getting to be too late in the process. Don't blame them one bit for being in Calgary, just wish this was sorted out a lot sooner.Especially should've been done before the schedule was released.

Assume there's going to be some rescheduling done and adding more games against the other California teams, cutting a quarter of the Barracuda's games would be ridiculous.

Balcers was claimed off waivers. I thought he had to stay in the NHL. How is he playing for the Cuda?

He's non-roster but I don't know the particulars as to what rules they're playing with but my guess is this essentially a conditioning assignment type of thing given his status.
