what i was saying is that little is just as important to his team as savard is to his. savard made the dumb decision to fight after having concussion issues, took his helmet off, initiated a fight, lost, and then started chirping at the guy.

The only thing that makes me wonder if the punch triggered something is because he went down so easily in that Calgary game - it didn't look like he was hit very hard at all.

You cant blame a player for reacting after a head shot, whether it's by a punch or a whack with the stick.

I don't know if a jab in the face is enough to seriously concuss a guy, even if it's coming from a fairly strong fighter. Meyer didn't even hit his head when he fell, so clearly the force wasn't any worse than an ordinary punch in an ordinary fight.

There were probably a dozen or more impacts to Myers' head between the Boston and Calgary games, when games and practices are taken into account. I doubt very much that the Lucic punch had anything to do with it.
