Just saw the thread and video, didn't see it on hockeyfights.com. just annoyed that he dies these things. He's a huge man who can take on most customers, but rarely fights those he knows he won't clearly beat. I was a huge fan of his, just not anymore.

Second...Meyer didn't hit Lucic in the head...He hit him in the chest.

Take another look, Meyer's shoulder goes directly into Lucic's face.

Jumping into a high hit on a team's leading goal scorer late in a blowout, at any level of hockey let alone the NHL, you better be ready to answer the bell. It just happens that Lucic is more eager to drop the gloves in his own defense than your average first-liner. Check Josef Melichar's high hit on Lucic, and the response it got. Almost identical.

Yeaaa....I don't think it was a dirty hit by someone much much smaller.

Like the Tyson-Holyfield, why was the much taller Holyfield's head anywhere near Tyson's?

Most importantly, why the **** did Lucic not expect to be hit there??
