Disagree on Barrie, but I kind of blocked out the first period. He had some really strong defensive efforts where he used his body to shield off the man and his speed to escape with the puck.

Throw away a year of contract? I really felt after the huge turn around the blues saw with Hitchcock we would have jumped at one of the few respectable newly unemployed head coaches last year. I would hope sacco is out but I have a feeling we have one more year. And next year we make 8th seed and he gets a 6 year extension.

If they keep Sacco as head coach, I may have to take a break from the Avs. I love the team, have since they were the Nordiques, but having this much incompetence just hurts me.
